Internal Family Systems (IFS) / Ego State Therapy and Hypnotherapy

A powerful approach that works with the different “parts” within us, assisting in expanding the helpful parts and shrinking the challenging parts. It helps clients understand, heal, and integrate wounded or protective parts of the self. This method is deeply aligned with inner child work and promotes internal harmony. (Works predominantly in the limbic system).

I often do this work in hypnosis, where we activate the different parts, heal them, and create the corrective experience.

Examples of challenging parts:
The self-sabotage part, the angry part, the people-pleaser part, the insecure part, the critical voice, the instant gratification part, the anxious part, the obsessive part, the hurt part, etc.

Examples of resourceful parts:
The inner wisdom, the inner strength, the inner love, the nurturing part, the assertive part, the creative part, the achiever part, the friendly part, etc.

This work is profound and life-changing. (Works predominantly in the limbic system).
